Jedi Roles

    The Jedi Guardian - The Jedi Guardian is the Republic first line of defense against the thousand enemies who seek to destroy the Republic. They

    take on the roles of Peacekeepers, Temple Security, and Starfighters in the Jedi Starfighter Corps. One of the oldest groups in the Order is that of

    the Peacekeepers. They deal with security and policing. You are usually placed off world in stations working with the local police and militia. On Tython,

    Peacekeepers are synonymous with Temple Security. You will work on keeping the Temple safe from armed radicals. The Jedi Starfighter Corps refer to

    their members as Jedi Aces. Through the Force they increase their reaction speed as well as their targeting capabilities.

    The Jedi Sentinel - A Jedi Sentinel walks the fine line between a Consular and a Guardian. They believe in a balance between their force abilities and their

    lightsaber skills. Sentinels are frequently Slicers, Tech Experts, Security Experts, and Shadows. Slicers are experts at entering a computers system to either gain

    information, or sabotage a system without proof of them ever being there. Being more experienced than the Slicers, the tech expert knows how to fix build and

    alter most mechanical equipment and usually welcomes the technology the galaxy has to offer. The Security expert has a reputation for their ability to disarm traps

    and silence alarms. The elite Jedi Shadow are widely known for the Moral compromises they have to make. The mission is more important than anything else to them

    and they frequently are required to be spies and saboteurs.

    The Jedi Consular - As a Consular your path is to unite living beings through the peace of the Force. You will often assist in conflict resolution for the Republic

    since your knowledge in the Force gives you a unique perspective. This path will take you on the way to becoming an Ambassador or a Diplomat. As a Consular you

    may want to become a Seer one day. This means that through the Unifying Force you will receive visions from both the past and the future. You may also continue as

    a Healer which works closely with the Jedi Medical Corps and do work both in and outside of the Temple. Another path is that of a Researcher. They work on analyzing

    theoretical problems as well as improving the Temple archives. You may also wish to be a Lore keeper which would make you a part of the Librarians Assembly.
